Can you work in my back garden if access is tight?

Yes. Our tracked spider lift can fit through a standard garden gate, and our team is experienced in working in confined spaces where larger machinery can’t reach.

Do you take the wood away or can I keep it?

Your choice. We remove everything as standard, but if you’d like to keep logs for firewood or wood chips for the garden, just let us know when we quote.

I've got a tree that's dropped a branch, is that dangerous?

It can be. A branch falling once often means the tree has a structural issue worth investigating. Give us a call and we’ll take a look.

Can you work in winter?

Yes, we work year-round. Winter is actually a good time for most tree work — trees are dormant, there’s no nesting risk, and it’s often easier to see the structure of the crown without leaves.

My neighbour's tree is overhanging my garden. What can I do?

You have the legal right to cut branches back to the boundary line, but always check for Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Area constraints first, and it’s worth speaking to your neighbour before any work begins. DB Tree Care can handle the whole process, TPO and Conservation Area checks, neighbourly advice, and carrying out the work properly without damaging the tree.

Do you offer a discount for multiple trees?

If you have several trees needing attention in one visit, we’ll factor that into the quote. The most cost-effective option is to carry out all work at the same time.
